Sean Lennon's Beatles' tributes have been something special

Sean Lennon's music has always been, for the most part, quite eclectic and distinctive. But if you listen to him do Beatles songs, another side emerges.
He's always shown influences of both his mother and his father, but hear him do just Beatles songs and he sounds very close to his dad.
Take this cover of "Julia" from the tribute to his father at Radio City Music Hall just after the 9/11 tragedy in 2001, which he dedicates to his mom Yoko Ono. It's tender and gorgeous. (The pictures of his dad in the background add nicely to the mood.).
And Sean accompanied Rufus and Moby on a very strong version of "Across the Universe."
In 1990, he performed "You've Got to Hide This Love Away" in Japan at a tribute for his father. He was just 15 years old.

But maybe the best cover we found by Sean is this version of "This Boy," from the Radio City show. It's absolutely stunning.
