Basketball clearly had an amorous effect on Paul McCartney and his wife  Nancy Shevell last night.
The couple were in New York at Madison Square Garden, where they watched the New Orleans Hornets defeat the New York Knicks.
And the 69-year-old singer enjoyed a PDA midway through the game with his wife, kissing her in full view of those around them.

As they watched the NBA match, the couple cheered on the players and were clearly having enjoying their evening out.
Nancy looked great in a black jacket and white T-shirt with what appeared to be a map emblazoned across the front.
She appeared fresh-faced as always, taking her place next to her husband in the crowd.

In the match the New York Knicks had their seven-game winning streak brought to an end losing 89-85  to the New Orleans Hornets.
Meanwhile Paul McCartney says he will stop smoking marijuana because of his daughter Beatrice, who is nine this year.
He told Rolling Stone: 'I smoked my share. When you're bringing up a youngster, your sense of responsibility does kick in, if you're lucky, at some point. Enough's enough – you just don't seem to think it's necessary.'

Sir Paul was first introduced to cannabis by Bob Dylan in the mid 1960s, and has had several run-ins with the police over his use of the drug.
In 1980 he was arrested while touring Japan with his band Wings, after customs officials found cannabis in his luggage.
He spent 10 nights in prison before being deported.

McCartney also spoke to Rolling Stone magazine about the Beatles reunion that never was.
He explained that although the possibility of a reunion was discussed, it never happened, because there was always one member or another for whom it didn't feel right at the time.
He said the band were always concerned that a reunion may taint their fans memories of the band - had it not turned out well.
He said: 'It could have spoiled the whole idea of The Beatles, so wrong that they'd be like "Oh, my God, they weren't any good"'
But despite never getting back together as a full band, it was revealed that individual members of The Beatles still found time to collaborate with each other over the years with Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr even playing Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts' Club Band at Eric Clapton's wedding in 1979.
