This month Paul answers the fourth question in our feature 'You Gave Me The Answer'. May's question comes from Steven in the U.S. ...

Steven asks, 'What are your highlights from the 'Wings over the World Tour?'

We caught up with Paul recently during his all-new "Out There" tour which began earlier this month at the Mineirao Stadium in Belo Horizonte, Brazil to find out…
Paul told us: "For me, the highlights from the 'Wings over the World' tour are Madison Square Garden, New York and The Kingdome in Seattle. And after a year's work of trying to achieve the impossible – forming a band after The Beatles - we made it. The smell of success was sweet."

The climax of the world tour was the incredible performance at the mammoth Kingdome in Seattle, Washington, which was watched by a staggering 67,000 fans who listened to Paul and Wings perform a setlist full of classic songs, including Venus & MarsBand on the RunLet Me Roll ItJetBluebirdThe Long And Winding RoadMaybe I'm Amazedand Yesterday. This remarkable concert was brought to life in 1980 with the concert film 'Rockshow' which has recently been fully restored and remastered from the original film and audio masters.

The American leg of the tour - 7 weeks and 31 concerts - also became the name of the 1976 live album, 'Wings over America' by Paul and Wings, recorded that summer on their only US tour. Paul said "We finally proved that we could be a really cool band - play to American audiences in the same way the Beatles had and have the same impact, in a different way. It was a buzz - a huge buzz."

Previous questions answered by Paul include where he would go if he had a time machine, who was the biggest influence on his bass playing, and if he could re-live one day in his life what day would it be.
