'The Beatles' get back on the roof to celebrate 50th anniversary of band's first single release

THE company of a new West End production celebrating the 50th anniversary of the release of The Beatles’ first single performed a rooftop gig at the old Apple studios building in Savile Row on Friday.
Previews of Let It Be start on September 14 at the Prince of Wales Theatre off Haymarket, with the opening on September 24.
Love Me Do, The Beatles’ first single, was released on October 5 1962.
