More than 300,000 people attended the 2010 Mathew Street Festival, which is organised by Culture Liverpool at Liverpool City Council and Cavern City Tours (The Cavern Club) and acts as the climax of International Beatles Week.
Marcus Cahill paid tribute to his idol John Lennon with a LIVE performance of the entire “IMAGINE” album by John Lennon.
Word got around that the closing show was going to be Marcus’ (backed by his good friends “Los Escarabajos”) “IMAGINE The Tribute” show and the crowds poured in for the closing of the festival an amazing crowd of 35,000+ Beatles and John Lennon fans from around the world filled the streets of Liverpool to watch Marcus perform as this was the first time any show had ever performed the entire “IMAGINE” album live and it was done first in Liverpool for JOHN.
Perfect renditions of the songs were performed to a very appreciative audience from all over the world that were in Liverpool to celebrate The Beatles.
