POSTED: TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 2015
A fundraising meet-and-greet with music legend SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY is set to raise almost $50,000 for charity, double its estimated price of $25,000 . The Beatles star is offering two fans the chance to sit in front row seats at one of his concerts, attend the afternoon soundcheck, and meet the singer after the show. Organizers of the auction, in aid of the Kawasaki Disease Foundation, which raises awareness of the autoimmune condition, expected to raise $25,000 with the McCartney lot. However, just hours before the sale's deadline on Tuesday (09 Jun 2015), the top bid on Charitybuzz.com stood at $49,000 .
