Sir Paul McCartney Glen Campbell, Tom Jones and Paul Anka are ending 2014 on new career highs after landing inductions into America's Pop Music Hall of Fame.

The veteran musicians are among the 14 artists recognized as part of the Class of 2015, including Linda Ronstadt, the Eagles, The Everly Brothers, Andy Williams, The Four Seasons and The Righteous Brothers.

Nominees must have charted hits prior to 1971 to be eligible for the honour and are selected by a panel of experts before the public votes on who should be inducted.

The 2015 induction marks McCartney's second entry into America's Pop Music Hall of Fame - he was honoured as part of The Beatles in the organization's inaugural Class of 2013.

Others immortalized in the Hall of Fame include Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Elton John, The Bee Gees, Carole King and The Monkees.
