One lucky bidder in the fifth annual Celebrity Stomp Out Bullying Charity Auction will have a chance to meet a Beatle, Heritage Auctions, which is sponsoring the event, announced today.
The winner will meet “the legendary Paul McCartney with two tickets to the upcoming show of your choice, plus access to the pre-show sound check,” according to the auction item's description. The prize was donated by McCartney.
“Sir Paul McCartney invites you and a guest to one of his spectacular upcoming shows. As part of this exclusive once in a lifetime VIP package, you will have the unique opportunity to see Paul and his band sound check prior to the show and if that wasn't enough, you will also get to meet the man himself!,” the description reads.
The choice of shows is between any of his upcoming On the Run tour concerts in North America taking place Nov. 11 at Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Nov. 14 at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Nov. 25 at BC Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and Nov. 28 at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The opening bid is listed at $15,000. The value is listed at between $50,000 and $75,000.
According to the rules, travel and accommodations are not included. "Winners and their guests are expected to conduct themselves appropriately when attending an experience won at Heritage Auctions," the rules also state. "Polite manners and respect for the generous donor and adherence to any rules or parameters are a must."
