These days, McCartney is still keeping busy while touring the world. He'll be back on the road as of October, going on yet another massive tour which starts in Montevideo, Uruguay. The legend still isn't slowing down, and his tour schedule remains just as busy all these years later.

Back in the summer of 2023, Paul McCartney sat down alongside his own website, PaulMcCartney.com, and answered questions related to his traveling experiences. The biggest question asked and one fans are curious about is how the icon keeps himself entertained when traveling? Fans might assume he's coming up with material, or tackling some of his other work during that time period. However, McCartney revealed it is very much the opposite. He instead opts to chill out and enjoy the simple things life has to offer, like watching a movie.

"I don’t knit, I imagine that would be quite cool, actually. Tom Daley knits and so does Michelle Obama, and I get why they do it; it must be a great release of tension. But I watch movies. So when I travel from London to New York, its normally a seven-hour journey so I end up watching about three movies, and in the middle of it all I try and have a meal," he tells the website.

"I just go to ‘New Releases’ and unfortunately they’re not new – I’ve seen most of them!"

"On car journeys, I watch stuff on my iPad which can be films or series. I’m currently on Better Call Saul and it’s a good one."

He continued, "I don’t read on journeys so much, I read at home instead before going to bed. I get ready for bed and the last thing I do is read."

Paul McCartney Had A Stunning Tucson, Arizona ranch.

Paul McCartney's real estate portfolio has certainly evolved over the years. One of his biggest purchases came alongside his late wife Linda.

° The couple purchased a massive 151-acre ranch out in Tucson, Arizona.

° McCartney bought the property in 1979, and it turned out to be the perfect escape during his booming fame worldwide, especially in the US.

° He also dished $4 million for a Beverly Hills home back in 2001. The home belonged to Courtney Love and Ellen DeGeneres.

His impressive portfolio includes a penthouse in Upper East Side Manhattan. This property didn't come cheap either. Purchased in 2015, the penthouse cost The Beatles legend $15.5 million. It includes ten rooms on two floors.

McCartney's main base remains in St John's Wood, London. He purchased the house way back in 1965, and still calls it home today. Paul picked up the home at £40,000. Oh, how times have changed. The property now has a staggering worth of £16.5 million, and that's on the lower end with its value constantly rising.

This spot is iconic for fans of The Beatles. 20 Forthlin Road out in Liverpool is the home Paul McCarntey grew up in. The home is currently owned by National Trust. The governing body does provide tours, and it remains a hot spot for admirers of McCartney and the iconic group. Over on Trip Advisor, tourists are still raving over their experience at Forthlin Road.

"This was an outstanding tour experience! It was a small group and the tour guides clearly love their subject matter. Fans just like us! The properties have been cared for and preserved with such attention to detail and with tremendous respect for the families. I pre purchased some guide books and they are wonderful! I highly recommend because you can’t take pictures inside. The guides are extremely well informed and they are extremely friendly and helpful. This tour is well worth the money.
