May 21, 2012– The celebrity-filled Beatles documentary called Beatles Stories, by Seth Swirsky, is hitting the big screen in the UK, one year after its U.S. film festival debut. We have just heard the news from Swirky’s representative, Neil Jefferies, that “Odeon/UCI, the biggest chain in Europe, will screen the film in London, Manchester and Liverpool on June 6 - the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ famous audition at Abbey Road in 1962.”
He said in an email, “It kicks off June 6 at the Odeon in London (Kensington), Manchester (The Printworks) and Liverpool (One.)”
He continued, “Seth will be in London from 31st May for the week to do promo and interviews and returns 7th June back to LA.” He also indicated that a Q&A appearance with Seth is in the works but not finalized.
Beatles Stories is a documentary that Seth has put together featuring many big names and their recollections about the Beatles. It all started with a visit with May Pang, and her fantastic memories of being with Lennon in Los Angeles during "The Lost Weekend." From there it expanded to the late Davy Jones, Sir George Martin, Klaus Voorman, Brian Wilson, Smokey Robinson and many more, including the daughter of a U.S. president, Lucy Baines Johnson.
Available for pre-order: The DVD of Beatles Stories can be pre-ordered now at the website: For $15 you can get a DVD signed by Seth. And there is an "additional dvd filled with dozens of extra Beatles Stories." It is available June 6.
