Paul McCartney fez de novo. Assim como em 2010, quando foi dar suas pedaladas silenciosamente pelo Parque do Povo, no Itaim Bibi, em São Paulo, lá estava ele ao lado da mulher, Nancy Shevell, durante o início da tarde desse domingo de sol, dia 24. Ao contrário da primeira vez, em 2010, quando foi flagrado por uma repórter do Estado, Paul andava de bicicleta no instante em que muitos fãs não sabiam sequer se ele já havia chegado ao Brasil. Sim, ele chegou, e já saiu de rolê pela zona Sul.

O Parque do Povo, chamado oficialmente de Mário Pimenta Camargo e pela produção de Paul carinhosamente como People’s Park, tem seus charmes que podem ter ajudado a fazer de Paul um frequentador recorrente. A música que ele ouviu por lá foi alguma polifonia produzida pelas 37 espécies de aves, como beija-flor-tesoura, pica-pau-do-campo, suiriri-cavaleiro, sabiá-do-campo e tico-tico. Nas partes mais altas, pousando nas copas das árvores, ficam o maracanã-nobre, o sanhaçu-do-coqueiro, o ferreirinho-relógio. Isso em meio a 32 espécies de plantas e um agradável Jardim dos Sentidos, onde ficam ervas aromáticas.

Paul está em São Paulo. Seus shows, feitos na oitava viagem ao Brasil, serão nas próximas terça (26) e quarta (27), no Allianz Parque, a casa do Palmeiras que fica no bairro que há até poucos anos se orgulhava de estar na história do rock nacional por ter tido como residentes o grande guitarrista Luiz Carlini, fundador do Tutti Frutti (até hoje na região), os irmãos Arnaldo Baptista e Sergio Dias, dos Mutantes, e mais os músicos do Made in Brazil. Nenhum deles certamente imaginaria que Paul McCartney, um dia, estaria na área.

Paul McCartney did it again. Just as in 2010, when he was quietly pedaling around the People's Park at Itaim Bibi in São Paulo, he was there with his wife, Nancy Shevell, during the early afternoon of this Sunday, the 24th. Unlike the first time in 2010, when he was spotted by a ESTADAO reporter, Paul rode a bicycle the moment many fans did not even know if he had already arrived in Brazil.. Yes, he has arrived, and has already left the South Zone.
The People's Park, officially called Mário Pimenta Camargo and Paul's production affectionately as People's Park, has its charms that may have helped make Paul a recurring guest. The music he heard there was some polyphony produced by the 37 species of birds, such as hummingbird-scissors, woodpecker, suiriri-rider, field-worm and tico-tico. In the highest parts, perched on the treetops, are the maracanã-nobre, the coconut-nut, the watch-bug. This amid 32 species of plants and a pleasant Garden of the Senses, where aromatic herbs.
Paul is in São Paulo.
