They've been sunning it up over the Christmas period on the beautiful island of St Barts in the Caribbean.
And now, Sir Paul McCartney, 70, and wife Nancy Shevell, 58, waved goodbye to their festive getaway as they boarded a plane back home on Friday.
The Beatles icon cut a casual style as he shook the aircrew's hands, tipped and even gave a friendly hug to some crew members before jetting off.

The singer-songwriter rocked a comfy navy jumper with contrasting white sleeves as he chatted on the phone while busily arranging his luggage.
Keeping a low profile in a blue baseball cap, the rocker shielded his eyes in stylish retro sunglasses.
Chic wife Nancy followed suit with her travel get-up, opting for a relaxed mustard t-shirt and skin-tight black legging, perfect for the long haul.
The New York native went barefaced for the flight, and accessorised her everyday look with a tropical white sunhat accented with a baby-blue ribbon and sophisticated layered necklaces and crescent-shaped earrings.

Throughout their holiday, the pair have been seen packing on PDA as they have got increasingly close during their festive family break.
Sir Paul and Nancy arrived in St Barts on Boxing Day with his daughter Stella's sons, four months after St Barts was rocked by devastating Hurricane Irma.
Earlier this year, the island's Eden Rock Hotel & Villas — a luxury resort owned by the parents of Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews and his brother, Pippa Middleton's husband James — was damaged in the natural disaster.

Jennifer Connelly and her husband Paul Bettany, Ashley Oslen, Olivia Palermo, Jake Gyllenhaal and Chrissy Teigen all visited St Barts last year but seem to have decamped to other destinations in 2017.

Macca was first married to Linda Eastman in 1969 and the couple were together until Linda died of breast cancer at age 56 in 1998.
The rocker adopted Linda's daughter from her first marriage Heather, 54 and the couple raised three biological children together: Mary, 48, Stella, 46, and James, 40.
Sir Paul went onto marry Heather Mills in 2002 but the former flames, who share daughter Beatrice Milly, separated in 2006 and they were divorced in March 2008.
