He is making the most of his holiday with his stunning wife, his children and grandchildren for a festive break.

But Sir Paul McCartney, 75, enjoyed some alone time with Nancy Shevell, 58, on the golden sands of St Barts beach, in the Caribbean on Thursday.

The swimsuit-clad lovebirds emerged from the choppy sea drenched, with their costumes clinging to every inch of their skin.

Macca donned a slim-fit T-shirt and emerald green swimming trunks when he basked in the glorious getaway sunshine.

The Beatles icon pulled off the wet look as his hair slicked to his face after he splashed around in the sea with his wife.

Nancy affectionately draped her hand over the musician's shoulder when they headed towards the mainland of the beach together.

The lovers, who have been together since 2007, looked more in love than ever as they laughed and frolicked in the sea.

Sir Paul's wife paraded her incredibly figure in her slinky one-piece costume which clung to her enviable curves.

Nancy's brunette tresses were scraped back with the force of the water which showed off her make-up free complexion.

Earlier on in the holiday, the pair have been seen packing on PDA as they have got increasingly close during their festive family break.

Sir Paul and Nancy arrived in St Barts on Boxing Day with his daughter Stella's sons, four months after St Barts was rocked by devastating Hurricane Irma. 

Earlier this year, the island's Eden Rock Hotel & Villas — a luxury resort owned by the parents of Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews and his brother, Pippa Middleton's husband James — was damaged in the natural disaster.

Jennifer Connelly and her husband Paul Bettany, Ashley Oslen, Olivia Palermo, Jake Gyllenhaal and Chrissy Teigen all visited St Barts last year but seem to have decamped to other destinations in 2017.

Paul has been soaking up the sunshine on his annual beach break with his wife Nancy, his daughters and his grandchildren.

The couple exchanged their vows in a romantic ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in the charming company of 30 family and friends in October 2011.

Macca was first married to Linda Eastman in 1969 and the couple were together until Linda died of breast cancer at age 56 in 1998.

The rocker adopted Linda's daughter from her first marriage Heather, 54 and the couple raised three biological children together: Mary, 48, Stella, 46, and James, 40. 

Sir Paul went onto marry Heather Mills in 2002 but the former flames, who share daughter Beatrice Milly, separated in 2006 and they were divorced in March 2008.
