It's been 24 years since Paul McCartney last performed in Australia.
But the 74-year-old Beatles legend is reportedly just months away from returning Down Under.
On Monday, sources told the Herald Sun that Frontier Touring founder Michael Gudinski has the legend 'set to rock AAMI Park this summer.'

The publication claimed the deal is imminent and would see Paul playing a string of dates in November and December.
Notably, the British rock star's published touring schedule shows he is available on the rumoured Australian dates.
Having just wrapped-up a series of shows in Tokyo, Paul is certainly prepared to travel long distances to perform.

Michael Gudinski is a legend in the Australian touring industry, having previously hosted the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift and Foo Fighters.
Securing the Beatles star would be one of Michael's biggest achievements, as Paul has successfully eluded promoters since his last performance in 1993.
Paul was locked in to return in 2002, but abruptly cancelled his two shows at Melbourne's Docklands stadium.

At the time, he cited the 2001 Bali bombings, claiming the country needed time to recover.
'This is not the appropriate time for a rock show,' he said in a statement.
He expressed his deepest sympathies, but did not indicate a desire to reschedule.
But The Herald Sun cited unconfirmed 'long-held rumours' that Paul cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
