CORNWALL, Ontario - A Beatles tribute show to mark the 50th anniversary of the Fab Four will take place next month at The Port theatre in Cornwall.

REVOLUTION: A Tribute to The Beatles, will take place April 11 and tickets go on sale Monday at noon at the theatre box office.

“Fifty years ago The Beatles kicked off a worldwide phenomenon that has never really ended and they still remain the biggest name in rock and roll,” said Mark A. MacDonald, volunteer co-ordinator for The Port.  “Jeff Brunet, Brock Frost and a few dedicated volunteers are doing what they can to make sure the Port Theatre remains a vibrant part of our local cultural scene."

The Port Theatre has been a local landmark for over 70 years and the Beatles show is being used as a fundraiser to help keep pace with upkeep at the facility.

“We are honoured to have Mr. Brock Frost as our special guest emcee for this event and all of the proceeds will be used to support the Port and their efforts to upgrade to a digital system," MacDonald said.
