Thieves stole rock star autographs including those of The Beatles and Donovan when they broke into a house on the outskirts of Welwyn Garden City.
A small grey autograph book was part of the haul stolen by crooks from a house near The Crooked Chimney pub, Cromer Hyde, on November 3.
Other stolen goods included a free-standing safe, jewellery, money, a Macbook pro computer, an iPad, and a man’s Tag Heuer watch.
The thieves forced their way through a door, after parking a small hatchback car in a neighbouring field between noon and 1pm.
Detective Constable Emily Martin said: “It would have taken at least two people to drag the safe into the car, which is believed to be a small hatchback.
“I am keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around the time of the offence to please contact me.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who saw a small hatchback which was weighted down at the back or anyone who has been offered these items for sale.”
