Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band ended their tour at Los Angeles' Greek Theatre Saturday night with guest appearances and a little help from some friends.
According to the venue, Micky Dolenz of the Monkees, Matt Sorum (of Velvet Revolver), Peter Frampton and Joe Walsh joined Ringo and the All-Starrs and were among those on stage. Matt Hurwitz also confirmed that Edgar Winter, Gary Wright and Jim Keltner (on drums) were also on stage.
Walsh, who is married to Marjorie Bach, the sister of his wife Barbara, and is Ringo's brother-in-law, had guested on stage for Ringo's 72nd birthday show in Nashville July 7 to play "Rocky Mountain Way." He played it again at the Greek.
Frampton, Winter, Wright and Walsh are all former members of the All-Starrs.
The tour began June 14 in Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It hit over 25 stops covering such states as Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana, Utah, Washington, Oregon and California.
Update: According to the comments below (thank you!), Jack Bruce, another former All-Starr, and ELO's Jeff Lynne were also on stage.
Update II: According to Ringo's rep, also on stage were Keith Allison (formerly of Paul Revere and the Raiders), Bud Cort and Lucy Walsh.
