He's the proud father of five successful children.
And doting dad Paul McCartney couldn't contain his pride as he settled in to watch daughter Stella McCartney present her eponymous label line for Paris Fashion Week on Sunday.
Joined by wife Nancy Shevell, the former Beatles frontman, 73, beamed with anticipation as he headed into the show to take his rightful place on the front row - cutting a dapper figure in a tailored black suit and crisp white shirt with his eyes concealed by a pair of black sunglasses

Standing by his side, Nancy, 56, cut a glamorous figure for the show, donning a pair of cropped white trousers in polka dot print, with a ruffled cream and coral jumper.
Layering up in a chic peach coat, the star rounded off her ensemble in a pair of nude loafers with a cleated white sole and carried a small brown bucket bag.
Wearing her chestnut coloured tresses loose and tousled, she styled her glossy locks in a centre parting, framing her heart shaped face which bore a neutral make-up palette, allowing her natural beauty to shine through.
Ready to rock: Paul seemed to be enjoying himself ahead of the show, pretending to play the guitar and dancing around before heading in to watch his daughter present her designs on the runway
Going strong: Paul and Nancy looked happily loved-up following their fourth wedding anniversary in October, after tying the knot at London's Marylebone register office in 2011, the same location as Paul's first marriage to Linda in 1969
Cosy: The couple seemed in good spirits and were no doubt looking forward to greeting Stella ahead of the runway show

Pretty in pink: One inside Nancy removed her coat to expose a ruffled pink jumper that shrouded her lithe frame
Paul and Nancy looked happily loved-up following their fourth wedding anniversary in October, after tying the knot at London's Marylebone register office in 2011, the same location as Paul's first marriage to Linda in 1969.
Paul recently opened up about his late wife in a new excerpt from ‘Man on the Run: Paul McCartney in the 1970s’ by Tom Doyle.
The snippet - published in Esquire - is focused on a period in the star’s life – following the Beatles split - when he felt he almost had a ‘nervous breakdown’.
Pretty as a peach! Nancy, 56, cut a glamorous figure for the show, donning a pair of cropped white trousers in polka dot print, with a ruffled cream and coral jumper. Layering up in a chic peach coat, the star rounded off her ensemble in a pair of nude loafers

Catwalk Queen: Stella made a stylish impression in her casual but chic ensemble as she took to the runway
Ready for her close-up: Nancy took the opportunity to snap some selfies as she waited for the show to start from the comfort of the FROW
Ready and waiting: All eyes were on Nancy in her colourful ensemble as she sidled up next to Sir Paul and Stella's husband Alistair Williams
Getting cosy: The couple enjoyed a brief chat as they cosied up close together on the front row at the show
Tom Doyle writes: ‘It was as if he’d suddenly and unexpectedly lost his job, been made entirely redundant. This was an identity crisis in extremis: Who exactly was he if he wasn’t Beatle Paul McCartney?
Paul is then quoted saying: ‘I hit the bottle. I hit the substances.’
The singer described how he felt at the time saying it was like ‘a barreling, empty feeling rolling across his soul’ but credited his late wife, Linda as the saving grace that helped him through.
But Paul looked the vision of health and happiness as he cosied up to Nancy ahead of his daughter's show
Best of British: Lewis Hamilton cosied up to Paul as they mingled inside the event
Engrossed: Sir Paul seemed impressed with his daughter's work as he gave the designs a once-over on the catwalk
Blending in: Sir Paul kept to himself at the show ensuring all eyes were on his daughter's designs and not on himself
Friendly faces: Sir Paul waited until the show had finished before going over and introducing himself to Lewis Hamilton
Jess Glynne turned heads on arrival to the show as she wore her auburn locks loose and curly, backcombed to give the glossy tresses extra height and body.
Wrapping up in a grey cocoon coat, the Hold My Hand hitmaker made a bold fashion statement in a black skirt with a risque front split whilst she opted for silver star print brogues with a cleated sole.
Clutching onto one a Stella McCartney handbag, the singer cut a striking figure as she waited for the runway show to begin.
Model men: Lewis Hamilton looked at home as he chatted with Stella McCartney's husband Alistair Willis
Also making a stylish appearance at the show was Anna Wintour, who has expressed her admiration of Stella's designs in the past.
Elegant as always, the Vogue editor donned a black fitted coat in floral print that fell at flattering mid-calf length.
Adding some height to her frame she wore a pair of leather knee high boots with a block heel, and kept the rest of her accessories simple, donning a myriad of colourful necklaces that perfectly complemented her ensemble.
Concealing her eyes behind a pair of oversized black sunglasses, the fashion mogul peered out beneath her trademark blunt bob.
Lewis Hamilton made a bizzare style choice for the show, wearing a black padded jacket with a detachable hem and leather sleeves. Sporting the garment half-zipped and dangling precariously, the F1 driver looked in good spirits.
Keeping the rest of his ensemble simple, the star donned a pair of fitted jeans with a crisp white shirt, also opting to conceal his eyes behind a pair of mirrored sunglasses.
But despite being surrounded by famous friends and glamorous stars, Stella was no doubt most keen to see her father in the audience as she stepped out onto the catwalk after the show.
Speaking about her parents, Paul and his late wife Linda, Stella explained that they played a fundamental role in carving out her career as she turned to them as role models.
'I learned a lot from her ethics,' Stella told CNN about her late mother.
'Both my mum and dad are known to be vegetarians, world rights activists and environmentalists, and that definitely came into my place of work.
Once you have children it adds another layer of responsibility to what you're doing. You have to be a role model to them so it makes you question your actions - in a good way.
